Renew Hair Named Finalist for Victorian Salon Business of the Year 2026
We have some very exciting news to share…
Renew Hair has been named a finalist for VIC Salon Business of the Year at the 2026 ANZ Hair Industry Awards – Business!
And this one feels pretty special.
The AHIA Business Awards were created to recognise business excellence within the hair industry and have now been running for 13 years. In 2026, more than 300 entries were submitted across Australia and New Zealand, with entries assessed by an independent panel of more than 30 national and international judges from areas including business, finance, marketing, education, design and leadership.
To have our Altona salon recognised amongst some incredible Victorian businesses is something our whole team is incredibly proud of.
More Than Just Beautiful Hair
When I bought Renew Hair over 11 years ago, I always wanted to create more than somewhere you simply came to get your hair done.
I wanted it to feel warm, welcoming and professional — somewhere clients genuinely enjoyed visiting and somewhere our team felt supported to learn, grow and build amazing careers.
Over the years, that has meant constantly looking at how we can make Renew better.
From investing in ongoing education and premium products, to improving our client experience, creating our Renew Rewards program, introducing smarter salon systems and continuing our commitment to sustainability, there is always something happening behind the scenes.
And while beautiful hair will always be at the heart of what we do, being recognised in a business award feels especially meaningful because it acknowledges everything that goes into running a great salon beyond the chair.
What It Means to Be a Victorian Salon Business of the Year Finalist
Being named a Victorian Salon Business of the Year finalist feels especially meaningful because this award recognises everything that goes into running a great salon — not just the beautiful hair our team creates every day.
Renew Hair is officially one of the Victorian finalists alongside some incredible salons from across the state.
But for me, this recognition really belongs to our team.
They are the people who bring Renew to life every day — looking after our clients, supporting one another, learning, improving and creating the atmosphere we are so proud of.
And of course, none of it would be possible without our clients.
